I'm a research software engineer at the Stanford Center for Biomedical Informatics Research (BMIR), where I primarily work on the CEDAR Project, an exciting initiative addressed to overcome the impediments to creating high-quality metadata. My research interests focus on the application of ontologies and Semantic Web technologies in biomedicine.
Before coming to Stanford, I worked as a researcher and software engineer at the University of A Coruña (Spain), where I obtained my PhD in Artificial Intelligence. I have also taught several college courses related to Web Application development and Semantic Web technologies.
Take a look at my research works.
